Zotero connector for Chrome not working

I generally save webpages to Zotero using Safari on my Mac and don't have any issues. But I just recently needed to save a page from Google Chrome, and nothing happened when I clicked on the icon for the Zotero Connector. I tried several times, even after re-authorizing Zotero in the Connector extension.

Zotero status in Settings: Zotero is currently available.

That's working fine here. Did you try just reloading the page? The extension was just updated, so if you had the page open at that time, it would've stopped working until you reloaded.

(And authorizing in the settings is never something you need to do. That's solely about saving directly to zotero.org when the Zotero app is closed, and Zotero will prompt you to do that if necessary.)
