BBT cite-key column moves after re-opening Zotero since login info purge, could they be linked?

edited January 18, 2025
I haven't seen anyone mention it, but it all started after I had to purge my login info from Zotero as my university forces password changes every 4 months.

I followed the steps here, mine is the last comment: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/374672/#Comment_374672

and it did reset the proxy login info to empty. However, at first, this made BBT crash as it tried to update before I could enter my credentials. How that stopped happening, I'm not too sure, honestly, but eventually BBT stopped trying to run before I entered my credentials.

However, since then, the cite-key column doesn't stay where I move it to when I reopen Zotero. Since I've seen no one else mention this, this is me mentioning it and asking for help on getting Zotero to remember my column layout.

And while we're at it, is there a way to get Zotero to remember my login info so I don't have to type it in every time? There used to be a "remember password" check, but it disappeared in version 7, right?
ETA: autologin is already set to true and no matter how many times I put in my login info, it never remembers them.

If screenshots or more details are needed, let me know!
  • You'd have to ask the BBT developer about that or any other BBT-related questions.

(And Zotero developers read every thread, so please don't ask the same thing in multiple places. See Be patient.)
