Upgrade Storagedirectory for attached files setting is ignored
Hi there,
inside the settings there is the possibility to change the directory for attached files (in my German version called "Basisverzeichnis für verlinkte Dateianhänge"). But when I add a PDF or snapshots via Firefox it always uses the main Zotero folder and adds there a subfolder inside the storage folder.
Is the setting ignored or do I misunderstand the meaning of it?

If you want linked files, you'd have to use a plugin for that, and you'd configure the target folder in that plugin's settings. The Linked Attachment Base Directory setting doesn't control where linked files are saved.
