Upgrade StorageZotero's colour scheme changed making reading difficult

I restarted Zotero after the word plugin was not installed, and the colours appear as in the attached screenshot, which make it difficult to read.
What I tried:
Changing `ui.use_native_colors` in the config editor to false, which resulted in even worse colour scheme.
Changing `reader.color_scheme` to dark that had no visible effect.
Possible solutions:
automatically change the colours, or manually change the colours.

But you should start by upgrading to Zotero 7. If you're still having trouble, provide a screenshot.
