Mouse slows down when hovering over PFDs, using 7.0.11

Hi,
Using Zotero PDF viewer, fresh Install. When hovering over the PDF, mouse terribly slows down. The larger the Zoom the slower the mouse. Already tried activate/deactivate hardware acceleration and enable/disable webrendering to no avail.
Any solutions for that?

    1. Is mouse dragging over a PDF is the only performance issue and everything else in Zotero work smoothly?
    2. How old is the computer?

    1. Yes, everything smoothly except when dragging the mouse over an opened PDF tab, including the viewer background. BTW, I'm using the nouveau driver.
    2. The manufacturing date seems to be around 2012/2013... CPU: AMD FX-8350, 8-core, 4.2 GHz; RAM: 32 GB DDR3.

    Yes, moving a mouse over PDF view is triggering partial PDF page redraws, and we plan to optimize that a little bit. But normally that's not a problem at all. And the main issue is with your hardware or OS.

    Confirmed! I bought a new machine, and it works like a charm now on AlmaLinux 9.5.
