Library created by employee who has now left organization - how to delete?

Hi there,
A group library I use regularly was created by someone who has now left the organization. I am member but don't have ownership so can't do much with it. I created a new group library with myself as owner, and copied all relevant content over so now I can manage and share this library as I like. How do I delete/remove this 'orphan' library whose owner has left the organization?
