Erroneous citation preview popup with equation containing (1

a citation preview popup falsely appears in the middle of an equation that has a left parenthesis followed by a 1:

The target (underlined in red) doesn't seem to resemble any sort of reference:

This occurs with versions 7.0.10 (64-bit) as well as 7.1-beta.1+bc3c05d06 (64-bit) on Linux.

Thank you. Also, I'm not sure what to call the popup that appears when hovering over an equation/figure, as well as the popup that appears when hovering over a citation. I fear that I'm referring to them using the wrong names, which could be confusing to some and make searching the forums difficult.

I am experiencing the same problem. I have seen it happening in many different papers.
