Notes directly to word

I read in places about talks of it in future versions, but when could we expect a direct notes into word (with the formatting and bibliographic info intact)?

It could be such a game changer and simplify the note-to-writing process.

As for iOS, it seems a step behind with not being able to open a separate instance for a separate note editor...or maybe I am missing something here.

Any information on it is helpful, thanks.
  • You can use "Add Note" in the word processor add-on, that does exactly that.
  • Thanks but not entirely, as it involves making notes separately and then importing it into word. I meant dragging and dropping from the pdf annotations, not using a separate note at all. The bigger challenge honestly is keeping tabs of all notes.

If you’re writing a certain chapter with a 100 diff references from 20 articles, you can just drag and drop the annotations into that chapter. You actually can tbf - but you lose the bibliographic data. I meant when will that be added.

I know standalone notes try to address it somewhat, but it’s nowhere near a word processor like software to dish out 20/30 pages.
  • It will be possible to insert individual annotations in a future version of the Word plugin.
  • Thanks. That was my question precisely if it is already in works or a tentative feature request.
