Upgrade StorageItem types for editorials, published letters, etc?
After some searching, I don't think I am asking a question that is answered elsewhere but apologies if I am.
I'd like to distinguish journal articles that are peer-reviewed, editorials, published letters, etc. My field is medicine but I guess this need is common to other fields. I cannot find an item type that is appropriate since the letter, document, etc types do not have a journal field. I am reduced to using "journal article" and adding a tag or entry in the "extra" field. This works up to a point but I am having trouble importing such items from RefMan since the item type I have used there translates to, for instance, manuscript and the jourmal field is lost.
Suggested work arounds from experts would be much appreciated. Many thanks.
