How to Manually add web article / metadata to zotero library

I have attempted to add a couple of online articles to the Zotero library (via pdf and html downloads since I cannot get the Zotero browser add-on) but the metadata such as their 'Creator' has not been added. How can i manually add this data as zotero wont let me cite using these at the moment and there does not seem to be any option to do this (see screengrab attached)

That's just a standalone file (attachment). It is not under a bibliographic item.

Just create parent item by right-clicking on the pdf and fill in the metadata.
