Issue: Unable to Drag and Drop Papers into Another Collection on Zotero 7.0.11 (macOS 15.1) – Error Message "Zotero Integration Error" (Works in Troubleshooting Mode)
Description:
After updating to Zotero 7.0.11 on macOS 15.1, I am unable to drag and drop papers into another collection. An error message pops up:
"Zotero Integration Error: Zotero experienced an error updating your document. Would you like to view troubleshooting instructions?"

However, when I switch to troubleshooting mode, the drag-and-drop functionality works as expected without any issues.

The error ID is: 1671773713.

Steps to Reproduce:
Open Zotero 7.0.11 on macOS 15.1.
Try dragging a paper (or multiple papers) from one collection to another.
The error message appears, and the papers are not moved.
Expected Behavior:
The papers should be successfully moved to the new collection without any errors.

Actual Behavior:
The drag-and-drop action fails, and the error message appears. However, this issue does not occur in troubleshooting mode.

The issue only occurs when not in troubleshooting mode.
I have tried restarting Zotero and my system, but the issue persists outside of troubleshooting mode.

This issue affects my ability to organize papers in collections, which slows down my workflow when troubleshooting mode is not enabled.

If it works in Troubleshooting Mode, you'll need to identify the plugin that's causing it (presumably "Easier Citation") and then report the problem to the plugin's developer.

You would never get an error related to word processor integration when dragging items within Zotero on its own.

Thank you very much for your reply. You are right. It works fine after I turn off the Easier Citation plugin.
