Strange sync issue
I am experiencing a strange sync issue today. The other day I created a few collections of papers (with attachments) on one computer. They have all been synced correctly to the online library. Today I opened up Zotero on a different computer and tried to sync them. I kept getting the following error for each attachment.
"The file 'C:\Users\user1\Zotero\storage\QPMUNFIM\Author - 1995 - PaperTitle.pdf' cannot be created.
Check that the file is not currently in use, that its permissions allow write access, and that it has a valid filename.
Restarting your computer or disabling security software may also help."
When I saw this message the first time, I verified that I have write privilege for the folders and did restart my computer. Then I noticed that the attachments did eventually get downloaded. But, after some of the attachments were eventually downloaded, I continued to get this error for other attachments, even though they were also correctly downloaded later.
This is the first time I saw this error. What might be the problem here? For background I am experiencing this error on a company Windows laptop which surely has a ton of security software running at all time. However I've used Zotero under such conditions for years without running into this error.
ps. I am running v7.0.8 (64-bit) on Windows 11. I know there is an update but have yet to install it due to not having admin privilege.

dstillmanYes, this is usually due to security software interfering with Zotero's ability to write to the disk. I'm afraid that's about all we can tell you.
