reference style error for APA7 th

Beck, P.J. and Maher, M.W. (1986). A comparison of bribery and bidding in thin markets. Economics Letters 20: 1–5. This paper I have saved in zotero, but when I cite this paper in word, and I choose document peference as American Psychological Association (APA) 7th edition, but the paper is shown as P. J. Beck & Maher(1986). But the correction one is Beck & Maher, 1986. I need APA 7th style.
  • Are you sure you have this entered correctly in Zotero, in two field mode with the "Lastname, Firstname" order?
  • I just click add citation, then type "A comparison of bribery and bidding in thin markets" in word, then click enter. Then appear (P. J. Beck & Maher, 1986). How to set this mode?two field mode with the "Lastname, Firstname" order?
  • In Zotero, the software, you have all your items. There you will see the title, publisher, date etc. on the right hand side. Make sure the data is entered correctly there.
  • . The original code is the above, so I should delete disambiguate-add-givenname="true" .Right?
  • It is correct APA style to add given names to disambiguate authors with the same family name. You should leave the style as-is.
  • Have a look at the guide that adamsmith posted yesterday.
This is correct APA. If you feel like that there shouldn't be any disambiguation as you only have one Beck & Maher paper, then "You can fix this by going through your library and changing all names that refer to the same person to the exact same form".
You might also have a duplicated item or a stray item in your document. Currently you haven't given us enough details.
