Upgrade StorageCitation style will not update
I am trying to change my citation style from APA to Vancouver in Word (Mac).
Some of the citations update, then it says 'automatic updating is taking too long' and stops working, leaving some of the citations in APA and some in Vancouver.
I have tried clicking refresh, starting a new document, closing word and zotero and reopining them and nothing works. Both zotero and word have been checked for updates. The citations in the document are active - they highlight in grey when i click them and have not been cleared.
I'm at a complete loss at what to do. Has anyone managed to fix this problem?

That message could show up if an operation is taking a long time, as is very possible in Mac Word, but it shouldn't interrupt anything.
If you make a copy of the document, cut it down to a smaller section, and then try, does that work? If so, you can do it in sections and copy them back into the same document.
