Can I open multiple instances of Zotero on windows?

I often have multiple projects running at once in different virtual desktops and it would be nice to be able to have an instance of Zotero open in each, with only the PDFs that I'm using for that project open. Can this be done?

You can of course open individual PDFs in separate windows and drag those where you want them.

You can't currently open multiple library windows (or multiple windows with tabs in general), but it's planned.

You can have multiple instances/profiles of Zotero running, but not accessing the same database. And it's very much an advanced strategy, for which support would be limited if you run into problems.
