How to revert to emacs shortcuts when editing notes in zotero on mac
Hello all,
When editing a note in zotero on a mac (here, macOS 15.0, zotero version 7.0.10), there are some annoying shortcuts that override the system-wide emacs style bindings, and seemingly no option to prevent this.
Specific examples:
ctrl+f opens the find searchbar, rather than moving the cursor forward one character
ctrl+b bolds the text, rather than moving backward
ctrl+p open a print dialogue, rather than moving the cursor up a line
1. Why are any ctrl+X style keyboard shortcuts enabled at all? Mac shortcuts should be cmd+X based. None of the official "shortcuts" visible in the zotero settings use this ctrl+X pattern.
2. How can we overwrite these emacs shortcuts and return them to the system-wide norms (like above)? I don't see any way to define shortcuts for these actions in the shortcut settings.
Thank you for your help,
Eric
