Issue with Parentheses Orientation in Arabic Texts on Zotero Software
Dear Support Team,
As an Arabic user of Zotero software, I’ve encountered an issue with the orientation of parentheses when adding in-text citations. The parentheses appear inverted, which disrupts the proper formatting of Arabic text. Additionally, the software uses English commas (,) instead of Arabic commas (،), which are expected to have their head pointing upwards in Arabic script.
The primary concern is the parentheses issue, as it significantly affects the presentation of citations. However, I’ve noticed that when I copy the text from Zotero into other applications like Notepad or Google Docs, the parentheses appear correctly.
Could you please assist in resolving the parentheses issue within the software? It would greatly enhance the experience for Arabic users.
Thank you for your support!
