It's still there for people that have already populated it. We've removed it going forward because it was used 99% by spammers. Given the nature of CVs, it proved impossible to automatically block spam without also suspending the accounts of an unacceptable level of legitimate users.
For showing a list of your publications, you can still add them to the "My Publications" collection in your Zotero client and have them shown (and optionally available for download) from your profile.
