URL in extracted Metadata
Greetings,
When one is importing a PDF to Zotero via the web-connector and the web connector does not recognize and "on-page" metadata, the application (at least for me) generally proceeds to extract what metadata it can from the PDF and put it into a "parent item". Generally this includes author and Title information. Sometimes other information.
In these cases where Zotero is extracting information from the PDF, why is the URL field also not added to the record? Zotero already stores this information on the PDF record itself. Is there a setting I am missing?

dstillmanBecause there's no guarantee that the download URL for the PDF is the canonical, citable URL for the bibliographic item.
