Annual payment
Hello
I cannot get zotero to run. I was thinking that it may be because I have reached the 300 limit. I am very diligent in adding tons of information to my records, which I now can see was a mistake.
As I have no fixed job and only work now and again, I am not interested in being caught in a system where I have to pay year after year. If I pay now, and get zotero running, can I then stop my subscription? what happens if I stop after having paid once?

I have started deleting attached PDFs as I assume that will help me get back beyond the 300-limit.
I keep on getting the same message: "Word could not communicate with zotero. Please ensure zotero is running and try again. If this problem persists, see https://www.zotero.ord/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting".
So far I have:
Deleted a number of attached PDFs (in case it had to do with having reached the 300-limit)
2) I have downloaded and run "zotero-7.0.11_x64_setup.exe":
3) I have restarted my pc, but I still get the same message.
4) I have copied my zotero folder to en external desk - just in case.
5) I read about deleting a zotero file called zotero-sqlite, but haven't tried it yet. I have located the file.
I have windows 10.
6) I can get into my library and make changes.
As I have been working on this problem the last 4 hours, I am getting desperate and running out of ideas.
I think I have manged to get it to work.
I looked here,
https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#word_could_not_communicate_with_zotero_please_ensure_that_zotero_is_open_and_try_again.
I think it is working now.
