Chrome is up to date
Zotero plugin just says it can't add it. It appears in Zotero as just an entry with the PDF file name, but I can't add it as a citation, I had to create a new parent for it.

That PDF saves fine for me. To be clear, that's just a random PDF document, so it will save as a standalone attachment and you'll need to create a parent item.
