Zotero won't create a bibliography - Mac

I am using Zotero for my thesis and can't create a bibliography.

I just can't create a bibliography. I get "{Citation}" and an error but nothing more.

I tried it several times. Restarted Word and Zotero. I also installed the new version of Zotero 7 for Mac - that did not help.

I have gone through the troubleshooting tips but this hasn't helped.

I can still create new footnotes in my thesis document.

Does anyone have ideas/tips?

    Do you use any utility software that interacts with your clipboard? If so, try disabling it.
