Zotero hangs in Google Docs when adding a citation
Good morning,
I opened Zotero this morning and it updated to 7.0.11. After updated, adding citations within Google Docs (using the Chrome browser) in a large document has become incredibly slow. When the problem first arose, the connector plugin suggested I turn of automatic updates, which I did, but it has not seemed to address the issue.
When I add a citation, the document gets the "Zotero is updating your document" overlay as usual, along with the progress bar pop up. Then it will sit for several minutes before opening the add citation dialog. That popup performs as usual. After hitting enter to add the citation, the "Quick Format Citation" dialog turns to a red bar and sits for another several minutes.
I am glad to provide additional information to help with troubleshooting.
Thank you!
