Upgrade StorageCannot copy PDF annotations with Zotero links - only plain text (macOS 15.1.1, Zotero 7.0.11)
Hi Zotero community,
I could really use your help with an annoying issue I'm running into. I'm using:
macOS 15.1.1 (24B91)
Zotero 7.0.11
My problem:
When I have a PDF imported in Zotero and make annotations in the built-in PDF viewer, I can't get the Zotero links to copy along with the text of my annotations. I've tried everything:
Drag & drop with ALT/Option key held down
Right-click and copy
"Copy with link" option
Different export formats
But no matter what I do, I only get plain text without any links back to Zotero. This happens with all PDFs and annotations.
Has anyone run into this before or knows how to fix it? Would really appreciate any tips!

Where are you pasting or dropping it? Have you tried using a different text editor?
