Abstract Field automatically maximized

I have an issue with the abstract window. It used to be when I selected a reference, the abstract window was minimized, and I could see the rest of the information, particularly the date of the article. Now, I have to click on the abstract window to minimize it to see the date of an article. Is there a setting that I might have accidentally changed? I have started deleting the abstracts because this is inconvenient when searching for references that I want to use. If there is no way to change it, I will adapt.

    I'm not sure what you mean by "abstract window". Can you take a screenshot?

    But if you're using Zotero 6, you can collapse the Abstract field just by clicking on the "Abstract" label. Nothing has changed there.

    In Zotero 7, Abstract is a separate collapsible section in the item pane, and it appears below the Info section, so it would never interfere with viewing the rest of the information.

    Strangely, it stopped doing this. The abstract field is now closed again in the window to the right when I select a reference. Thank you for responding, though.
