Zotero not working (before or after upgrade to latest version)

the app opens and will display the last folder that was open but won't sync, delete or show another folder. It just says 'Loading items" forever or syncing. Here is the error report: D1641087227; macbook pro (latest OS).

  • Have you tried restarting in troubleshooting mode (i.e., with all plugins disabled)?
  • yes - several times. It won't respond at all. It won't even quit. I have to force quit.
  • I had similar issues before and after a day or two it resolved. Always seems to happen when i have deadlines.
  • this is driving me crazy. it just started working again. I will pay handsomely anyone that can figure out this issue and prevent it from happening.
  • We'd want to see a Debug ID for Zotero startup through the problem occurring, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option.
