New install of app will not open
Downloaded Zoltero for the first time on a machine running Win11. I ran the installer and when it finished the app did not open automatically. Nothing happened, no sign of Zoltero in Task Manager. I tried opening it myself and got the same result. I restarted my computer, nothing. Uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted, and nothing.
Any ideas?

My IT department suggested trying to install Zoltero 6. I can open that without an issue.
There's currently a similar issue with Zotero 7 and Cisco Secure Endpoint that's being resolved by Cisco. Unfortunately this isn't something we can do anything about.
