I had to move my zotero folded back onto my Mac after a computer issue, all my pdfs are in the storage folder in Zotero folder in my Mac applications. All citations are there as original in Zotero, however I cannot get PDFs to open. When I double click the pdf I get a file not found message with the harddrive path to the storage folder, and a message about improper syncing, when I click the locate button it goes to blank box. Syncing generates this error message and report id.

Not sure what to do.

If your PDFs were in the 'storage' folder, you'd be able to open them. So either you didn't move things properly or you're on a different computer from where you added these files originally.

Note that the file you're trying to open was never uploaded to our servers, and that's the case for nearly all files you added before October of this year. You added a storage subscription at that time, but you still have to sync the computer where the files actually exist for them to be uploaded and become available elsewhere. See Files Not Syncing.

(You should also update Zotero. You're a few versions behind.)
