Zotero connector works on my private browser, but not the regular one.
Hi there,
The Zotero connector doesn't work on my private browser on my Safari. I deleted Zotero, restarted my Mac, and then re-installed Zotero. But the connector doesn't show up on my regular Safari.
I also cleared my history and Caches on my regular browser.
I am using Zotero 7, Mac OS 15.1.1, Safari 18.1.1
Nothing works to bring back the connector on my regular browser.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can you explain again where exactly you're seeing the Connector and share some additional screenshots that show what you mean?
The Connector does not work on my regular browser, but work on my private browser. How can I make the Connector work on my regular browser?
It all started with the older version of Zotero connector not responsive. Hence, I uninstalled Zotero, restarted the computer, and downloaded Zotero 7. But then the connector on my regular browser does not show up again. But it works on my private browser.
Thanks.

As you can see, the Zotero connector shows up on my private browser (2nd image) and it works as it should, but the connector doesn't show up on my regular browser (1st image). I would love to make it work on my regular browser. Called Apple support, they said I should contact Zotero support.
By "regular browser" and "private browser", do you just mean non-private and private browsing modes in Safari? (That wouldn't be separate browsers — it's all Safari.)
Have you tried disabling all other extensions in Safari?
I disabled all other extensions. Zotero connector is the only extension I have. Will try to post the two images again.

Safari in private mode:

Right-click on the toolbar in normal mode, choose Customize Toolbar, and re-add Zotero Connector from the icon palette.
