"Add to Note" is disabled

It seems there is the same problem on the latest version as of December 2024.

If it is not the same issue, why the "Add to note" is disabled? How can I solve?

I have the plugin Better Notes. The problem persists when I disable the plugin.

Using:
Zotero 7.0.10 on Mac OS 15.1.1

You need to actually have a note open in the Notes pane on the right to use that option. It's not enough to just have a child note.
