Citation Dialogue Box not showing

I have just updated to Zotero 7 because it was very slow and recommended an upgrade (looks great by the way, and I'm excited to use it) but when I press the Zotero connector plug-in on my Google document and ask to 'add citation' it takes me to the Zotero application without showing me the citation dialogue box to select a citation to input. Is there a new way of doing it or is this a glitch and if so please advise!! Thanks, Amy

Restart Zotero and refresh the Google Docs page. If this still happens look through open Zotero windows and see if the citation dialog opened and simply didn't pop up on top of other windows. Software that manages your windows may interfere with the citation dialog popping up on top.
