Can't save articles from one online newspaper

The Canadian newspaper, The National Post nationalpost.com
Google chrome browser. Current version and Current Zotero
This papers web presentation is full of ads and has some kind of foreground/background display process.
1 - Go to the home page: nationalpost.com
2 - select any article
3 - click the zotro plug in
What I see is a popup dialog showing a list of checkable items, I think identifying referenced pages.
4 - Select one or more and click OK

No articles are saved and I get no error messages.

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

With Firefox, I get an error message. Debug ID from the connector: D40747391

I submitted a trace through the Zotero Extension Error log.

The Bug ID is: D1065987876

I'm a newbie, but I'm guessing that the ID will lead to the trace text. Any help would be appreciated.
