Cannot remove annotation

I cannot remove an annoation from (with lock icon) on the left menu bar on an open pdf in a tab, which is not allowing me to use the mouse to highlight the text, so strange. It appears to show that an annotation is present in page four but tehre is no annocation, driving me nuts! The right pane annotation / notes tabs does not sow any annocations on this document, Any suggestions? Screenshot attached.

Does it work if you try importing the annotations?

Yes it did, I deleted the annocation from the external reader, then re-imported the file and issue solved, thanks!

To be clear, you don't need reimport anything, and that doesn't make sense in this context. The point here was just that you needed to import the annotations from the file in order to remove them from Zotero.
