Dear Zotero team

About every 10 times I insert a reference into my Word document, the following error message appears:
Ein Fehler ist beim Update Ihres Dokuments aufgetreten.
Möchten Sie die Anleitung zur Fehlerbehebung ansehen?

The message is from C:\Program Files\Zotero\zotero.exe

After clicking Yes, the Word document closes and the last saved version is automatically reopened as a restored file.

I have copied the contents of the Word document into a new document, but the error still occurs.

I have performed an advanced online repair of Office365. After that, the error still occurs.

I have reinstalled Zotero again. After that, the error still occurs.

I have reinstalled the Microsodt Word Add-In via Zotero. After that, the error still occurs.

I use Edge as my default browser.

Now I have reported via help/error... and submitted the result.

What is the full version number of Word that you are running? Open a Word document, choose File from the top left corner, and then click either Account or Help in the left nav bar. You’ll see your Office version and information under Product information, on the right side of the window.
