Sidebar state lost when unloading tab

I have 7 reader tabs open, all with the sidebar expanded. If I go to the first tab and collapse the sidebar, upon cycling through all the tabs I noticed that the sidebar is again expanded in the first tab. This doesn't occur if there are only 6 reader tabs open. Is the sidebar state forgotten when a tab is unloaded?

This is using version 7.0.9 (64-bit) on Linux.
