Zotero for Android issues: delete annotation, highlight/select text, Onyx Boox experience
Really excited to get access to the beta, thanks for opening up more slots and for all the work on this. I have some feedback to share after a short period of time testing:
1. Delete annotation does not seem to work for me to remove highlighting on either of my Android devices, a Google Pixel 6a and an Onyx Boox Note Air 3.
2. Pressing the delete annotation button also returns me to the first proper page of the PDF (second after the cover page), and when I go back to the page where the annotation is, it is still there. I thought this was an Onyx Boox issue but it happens on both devices.
3. Highlighting and selecting text with a touchscreen pen is difficult to master, as it requires you to drag the bubble at one end of the highlight. Intuitively, once I have initiated highlighting by selecting a word I try to drag the pen from where it is in order to highlight more words. But this just moves the page around the screen. This is noticed on Onyx Boox, which I understand is not your primary focus and some things may interfere with wider Android usability. But I wonder if it is possible to make it so that once a word is selected, dragging left/right/up/down pulls the highlight with you rather than shifting the entire page around on the screen.
4. Relatedly, could it be possible to lock the page in position? So once you find a zoom level you like, the page does not move around when you touch the screen?
I am excited to continue testing and once the app is stable, hope to switch my storage over to a paid subscription so that I can use Zotero as my primary PDF/epub reader and annotator on Onyx Boox.

chrislittleOn points 1 and 2 above, these have both been resolved for me on Pixel 6a with 1.0.0-119. However both problems persist in 1.0.0-119 on Onyx Boox Note Air 3.

chrislittleA new request - on a larger screen/tablet device such as an Onyx Boox, page turning is very clunky. You have to swipe across too much of the screen to get the page to flip intuitively. From using on a phone sized screen, I understand why this is the case, because it feels intuitive and smooth on there. But I wonder if there is a way to make it more intuitive on tablet sized screens, as I currently have about a 10% success rate on my first swipe with turning the page. Is it like this on the iPad app too?
