Android beta: A few immediate thoughts

Great job on the beta version of the app! I'm super stoked to use it. My device is a BOOX Air Note 4c running Android 13. Here are a few immediate thoughts while using it for my grad school workflow:

    1. Sometimes, when using the EMR pen, the menu and navigation are buggy and won't show up, and I've had to close out the app completely to navigate anywhere else in it. I'm trying to recreate the exact trigger when this happens, but I haven't been able to pinpoint one yet.

    2. PDFs go to the first page after adjusting settings, using the annotation button (without using it), or when the device autorotates orientation view. This makes it frustrating when I have big papers and have to find the same spot I was at earlier.

    3. Crashed when downloading a document and attempting to look at "info." It only happened one time.

    4. Split Screen is unstable in my experience. Meaning the document refuses to continue past the reading point before entering split screen. If I am able to get past the first reading point, it will jump to the end of the document or back to the first reading point without me clicking a citation note. I thought it was just the calibration on my device, but Zotero seemed to work fine when I was out of Split Screen. Also, annotating is a pain in split-screen mode with Zotero. This occurs in multiple documents, so now I've completely given up on split screening with Zotero.

    Feature Requests:

    1. It was mentioned earlier in this forum, but the ability for the annotation bar to be horizontal and either at the top or bottom while viewing a document.

    2. The ability to change the color of a highlight annotation after it has been used. Otherwise, I have to delete the current annotation and then re-highlight the text.

Please let me know if I can clarify anything!
