manually trigger sync on Android

I'm trying out Zotero for Android (it's fantastic) and would really like to bye able to manually trigger. a sync. Is it possible to do so? I don't see the sync button anywhere.

Thanks as always!

For force-syncing on the mobile apps, you scroll to the top of the item list, and pull down on the items list.

Syncing should happen automatically, though. If it does not, you should report it here.
  • Thank you very much, it works as described! I think it would be more convenient if it would do so even when one has not opened the "all items" list but any (sub)collection. Thanks anyways :)
  • The same gesture works in any collection. It's just the standard pull-to-refresh gesture used on iOS and Android. (E.g., you can use the same thing to refresh pages in Chrome on Android.)

But as enozkan says, you generally shouldn't ever need to use it — the app should normally sync automatically, including on remote changes.
  • I wonder if this has to do with the Android app not updating the view after a sync. I reported this some time ago, and I still see this most of the time.

@universidan To update the view (after a sync is auto-completed), do you go up to All Items view and come back?
