All PDFs are missing

I cannot access any of my pdfs on my desktop (Mac) or in Zotero.org. The pdfs are all grey. On my desktop I get an error message saying the attached file cannot be found and "It may have been moved or deleted outside of Zotero, or, if the file was added on another computer, it may not yet have been synced to zotero.org." I am on the latest version of Zotero, I have rebooted my computer, I added more paid storage, and still all of pdfs are grey. They do not show up in my computer's Zotero storage path library either. Please help!

    That message means what it says:
    It may have been moved or deleted outside of Zotero, or, if the file was added on another computer, it may not yet have been synced to zotero.org.
    If the files were added on another computer, you need to sync that computer now that you increased your storage space. See Files Not Syncing, linked from that dialog.
