Retaining File Extensions for Attachments in Zotero
Hello Zotero Community,
I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out for some assistance with an issue I've encountered while managing my references in Zotero.
When I add attachments to my references, such as PowerPoint presentations (.pptx), Word documents (.docx), or Stata data files (.dta), Zotero is correctly associating the files with the respective references. However, I've noticed that the titles of these attachments are being saved without their file extensions. This can make it difficult for me to identify the file types quickly within Zotero.
I am looking for a way to retain the file extensions in the attachment titles. Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions on how to achieve this? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help!
