Need help accessing PDF on my IPAD

A few days ago, I ran out of storage space within the Zotero Application on my IPad. Because of this , I upgraded my space for zotero on the IPad. After doing this, I am no longer able to get downloaded pdfs of my articles on my iPad zotero app. However, I am able to access these pdfs on Zotero on my Laptop. I checked and both of the applications on my iPad and laptop have been synced. When I download the article on my laptop, I have access to the pdf. When I open the Zotero app on my iPad, I only receive the citation but not the actual article in pdf form. May someone help me figure out how to get the downloaded article on my iPad.
