Zotero does not function at all

I recently got a new computer. When I installed Zotero the program appears to have installed, and icons appear in tools and on the bottom bar. However the program does nothing when I try to open it. I have tried all option in the trouble shooting installation section. Can anyone help? I love Zotero and used it all the time for school research.

And if you don't have any of those, disable your other Firefox extensions.

thank you soooo much! It was split browser. I am so pleased to have Zotero back up and running!
