Deleting many files in the recycle bin

[Split from Problems with Recycle bin]

When I open version 7.09 (64bit), I want to permanently delete the 10,500 files in the recycle bin, but every time the software gets stuck. Deleting one by one would take a lot of time. May I know how to solve this?

@Rh8722: Does it happen if you permanently delete in smaller batches?

For both of you, can you provide a Debug ID for reproducing this (assuming it eventually comes back from being stuck)?

Can you restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins, and then provide another?

That's not in Troubleshooting Mode. There are still plugins running.

This is amazing, I emptied all the files in the recycle bin after disabling the plugin and it worked. I think maybe the plugin is affecting the function of the recycle bin itself. Thank you so much for your patience and help ~ I'll be back with feedback if I have any other questions!
