Synchronisation error and program not responding
Hello,
I am getting an error message every time I open Zotero that there was a problem with the synchronisation. I sent a report and got this ID: 651801348.
If I check the library in the cloud, all data seems to be synchronised.
However, since updating on Zotero 7 the program is extremely slow, I cannot work more than 30 seconds without Zotero freezing.
Could these issues have to do with my library data being over 40GB? I use the unlimited space in the Zotero cloud but apparently all the files are also stored locally. Is there a way to just store them in the cloud?

Can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for a sync that produces an error?
Here is my Debug ID: D1115436358.
Thank you!
1) You somehow ended up with a 'statute' item with
Type: dataset
in the Extra field. Go to https://www.zotero.org/k.osterlow/items/XNC35S3H/library and you should see it. Change it to a Dataset item or remove that line from Extra. (We'll fix this not to be an error.)2) You have a huge file that's too big to sync and that's causing an error every time. Paste "ATFC87FG" into the search bar in All Fields & Tags mode, delete the large attachment (a .mov file), and empty the trash. You can add it back as a (non-syncing) linked file if you want.
3) Several hundred attachments added on another computer between late September 2021 and mid-February 2022 were never uploaded to the online library (perhaps you didn't have storage space at the time?), so whenever there are any remote file changes, Zotero on this computer has to check each of those files to see if any have been added. You should sort by Date Added to see the files in question and either sync the computer where those files exist so that they're uploaded or delete the attachment items (which will all have grayed-out PDF icons) so Zotero stops looking for them.
