Can't continue the bibliography on word

I am trying to continue writing my paper but every time the citation does not continue where i leave off but it starts with 1. I updates both word and zotero. I dont know where the issue is

Thank you. I am using Microsoft word and it looks like none of the things listed are related to me but I still have the issue

If it's starting at 1 every time, you're flattening the document one way or another. You should read the linked page again.

I updated word and zotero. Do you think that might have caused it?

I just checked again and the current citation is active but i still have issue. I followed the steps and when i "add/edit bibliography" it shows all my citation there
