Automatically remove fields on import via connector?
Hi there,
I've used the forum search to no avail, so starting a new discussion here.
Can I configure either Zotero (Win version) or the connector (Firefox) so that some metadata fields are dropped on import?
I've switched off auto-tagging to build up my own tagging, but I'd also like to get rid off "Extra" field values on import, as they mess with my reference style.
Is this possible, and if so, how?
I'm not afraid to configure deep into the system, but don't understand it well enough to do this on my own.
Thanks!

adamsmithYou'd have to modify individual import translators (see https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/translators/coding ) -- there's no setting otherwise. What type of Extra import are we talking about? In some cases -- e.g. DOIs for item types where those arent' currently supported -- values saved to Extra are essential metadata
