Google Docs not working

Same issue here, Why is this happening ???

    When I try to apply an in-text citation, the loading bar keeps going on and on. But after 1 hour of waiting, I refreshed and tried again, and the same thing happened. (it said there was another author editing, but I bypassed it and tried again). Now, I'm manually citing it. It's only a 30-page document. I don't know why this is happening. I cannot move into another software because nothing doesn't support Google docs and i have been using zotero since 2018. So I don't want to move out either.
