How can I cite a single line from one item

By now I just can cite one entire item, e.g. a book, article etc. But how can I store just one line from one Item to cite it in my document. I know how it works in citavi, but how does it work in zotero?

You just customize the citation and add a locator (e.g., page number):

You can also add annotations to a Zotero note and insert the note into your document with the word processor plugin, which will add both the quoted text and an active Zotero citation.

It will be possible to cite annotations (e.g., highlight annotations) directly without going through Zotero notes in a future version.

thank you for your proposals. But I think they only work in connection with libreOffice or microsoftOffice. I can try them out there. But unfortunately I'm using latex and there is no connector, so I can just cite entire items by biblatex.

You add the locator to your in text citation in your TeX document like this: \cite[380]{sigfridsson}
