Rendering Issue

I have encountered a problem related to rendering. Zotero could not display the text properly on my monitor screen, yet they are perfectly fine when I use my laptop. Zotero is the only software having this issue. If you have a solution to this, please post it below. Thank you.

btw, I could not upload a screenshot, since everytime I did that, the text instantly turns normal (no idea why) I could take the screenshot to show where are the rendering problems occurring.

    Can you take a picture of your monitor and share that?

    I solved the problem. I disabled hardware acceleration by setting layers.acceleration.disabled to true (Settings > advanced > config editor)

    That’s not a good fix, though — that will slow Zotero down. What computer/graphics card/Windows version? And can you provide a Report ID?

    I am using Windows 11 23H2
    the graphics card is RTX 4060

    You should check the NVIDIA control panel to see if you can set app-specific settings. If there's a profile for Firefox, set Zotero to use the same settings.

    There is the option for app-specific setting, but currently all apps are using the global setting for the graphics card
