Upgrade Storage"merge duplicates" does not merge contents of extra field
I love the "merge duplicates" feature, as it is easy to use and seems robust. However, I just made the alarming discovery that it does not merge the content of the Extra field, i.e. include all the Extra lines from all items.
I use the Extra field for coding additional information for a large research dataset, and I worry that some of that information has been lost due to merging duplicates.
Is there a plan to make to make merging duplicates more robust?
